Tarbert TT5K

RACE DATE

We are delighted to announce that the Tarbert TT5K event will take place on Saturday 15th August at 10am.

Participants are advised to be at the start line for 9.45am prompt.

REGISTRATION
Registration will open on Friday 14th August 5.30pm-8pm at the Race Marquee on the Harbour Amenities area. Registration will also open on Satuday 15th at 8am-9.30am in the Race Marquee.

GENERAL INFORMATION

THE COURSE

The 5km will start at Garval Point and join the harbour walkway at the harbour amenities area. You will then loop round past the Victoria Hotel before joining the walkway again and going down past the Fish Quay, onto the 'Pier Road' taking in beautiful scenery up Loch Fyne and over to Portavadie. You will turn at the concrete and follow the Pier Road back up to the village where you will be cheered onto the finish line at the ameinities area.

PARKING

There is NO parking at the START/FINISH line. Race goers are advised to park walk to the start line. Parking is available at the public car park on Campbeltown Road and at Stonefield Farms n Campbeltown Road.

CHANGING FACILITIES

Limited showering and toileting facilities are available at the Finish Area and Harbour Street. There are no safe facilities to leave clothing and equipment. The organisers accept no responsibility for loss of belongings.

RACE START AND FINISH

The 5K starts at Garval Point and finishes at the Tarbert Harbour Amenities Area.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

The 5k route will be run over public pathways and rads. No roads will be closed during the event and some cars may be on the route. All participants must follow direction from the marshalls, Coast Guard and Police. Participants are advised that no headphones will be allowed during the race.

REFRESHMENTS

There will be a water station available at the the half way point down 'The Concrete'. There will also be food and drinks available at the Finish Line.

PRIZES

Every participant will recieve a goody bag, finishers T-shirt and Medal.

There will also be prizes for 1st Male and Female local and 1st 2nd 3rd Male and Female and 1st 2nd 3rd veteran.

Race places CANNOT be transfered or refunded once you have entered.
